Adding a little spice to your outdoor living area can be as easy as installing a different style border around your patio. You can mix up styles and textures, add a band of contrasting color or style to a wall or column or inlay a shape or design. All it takes is imagination and creativity. Let your mind wander. The edge of your patio is the limit!

A few of the jobs we’ve been working on recently have ranged from York to Harrisburg to Hershey to Shippensburg. Makes for a lot of miles! There seems to be a need for creative landscape design and installation work all over the Susquehanna Valley. Take a look at some of the projects we are working on or have just completed. They range from plantings to pondless water falls to patios and retaining walls.

Check out the ‘in progress’ pictures of this project in the April post.

The back of this house is about to be transformed into a very elegant, usefull and practical ourdoor living area.

With all the moisture we’ve been having, this grass should be growing in no time!

Enjoy!

Summer is the season for lots of color in your garden!

This seating wall and pondless waterfall will help make this patio seem more cozy and secluded. Hopefully we can put the finishing touches on this one next week.

We installed this water feature a few years ago. It includes several hundred feet of streams as well as a pond, wetland filtration system and plenty of water falls. It’s a real pleasure to be involved in the maintenance as it matures and blends into it’s natural surroundings.

It’s been a very busy spring for us here at Reinford Landscapes. We’ve completed some really neat projects this year and are excited to share some of the pics from these jobs. For this project we were able to utilize a lot of the services that we provide. There were retaining walls, entrance columns and wingwalls, custom paver borders, plantings, grading, reseeding and more. Take a look at the finished product!

Check out the before picture of these walls from the April post

A small dry stream bed adds interest to this bed and makes a practical way to deal with the water that needs to flow throught this drainage culvert during heavy rains.

Don’t be afraid to spice up your entrance way with a paver border, columns, wing walls, mailbox pier or a combination of all these features. It will add a touch of class to your property you can’t get any other way.

Just a simple daylily can add such grace and elegance to your hardscape
